What makes us different from all electronics recycling companies in the San Antonio area is that we are a scrap yard who recycles electronics. We have learned over the past 6 months what it is to be eco-friendly. What is eco-friendly, is it keeping items out of the land fill? Well we believe that the more we can keep out of the landfill the better. We process over 200,000lbs of electronics every month and with most items containing plastics, metals, and glass we ensure that each commodity is processed packed and shipped to the best and most resourceful certified locations possible. There are companies out there that claim to be certified so be careful and do your due diligence before you make the mistake of your information getting out into the wrong hands. We are a END OF LIFE company we are not out to refurbish your items nor are we looking to make a buck by fixing your printer, copier, fax machine, computer or laptop and sending back out into the business community, you gave it to us for a reason, and that was to have it recycled not reused.

City of Helotes E-Cycling Event May 19th 2012

River City Steel & Recycling will be hosting a e-cycling event with the City of Helotes. http://www.helotes-tx.gov/  We are providing a service that has never been offered before so that residence of the Helotes area are bring in their old and outdated electronics to be recycled with all proceeds going back to the City of Helotes for improvements in and around Helotes. City of Selma Metal and E-Cycling Event May5th – 13th

May 5^th River City Steel www.rivercitysteel.com will drop a container at the City of Selma, City Hall Parking lot http://ci.selma.tx.us/  and it will be there until the 14^th of May for any and all scrap metal and house hold electronics. On May the 12^th we will be out with our electronics trailer so that the citizens of Selma and surrounding areas can drop off their outdated and non-working electronics. 20th Annual South San Antonio Chamber Golf Tournament

Get our golf clubs out we are going Golfing on May the 7th with George "The Ice man Gervin" for a great day of networking, golf, fun, and friends.
